A solo traveler has a free afternoon in a city where she does not speak the language. She asks, out loud: "What can I do nearby before my train at seven, and how do I get there?"
The companion knows where she is, when her train leaves and what she likes, so the answer fits: two things to see, one place to eat, the bus that gets her there and the time she needs to leave to make the train. It can book a ticket if she asks, and it confirms first.
At lunch it reads the menu for her; at the station it translates the sign; and when she meets friends later it splits the dinner bill and converts the currency. When the trip ends it keeps a summary, photos by day, expenses and draft reviews, and can turn the trip into a "do this again" template.
Illustrative scenario: the traveler and the trip are examples, not customers.
